Stephenson is appointed new Yorkshire Squash chairman

Matthew Stephenson was appointed as the new Chairman of Yorkshire Squash at the recent AGM at Pontefract Squash Club.

Matt is a member of the Dunnington team who are halfway to defending their Yorkshire Premier League title. He is one of the leading Over-45 players in the Masters tournaments held around the country and represents England in the Masters Home Internationals.

Matt is keen to take the opportunity of playing in clubs across the county to give Yorkshire Squash a higher profile, and canvass views on what more the Yorkshire Committee can do to promote squash and racketball through Yorkshire’s 130+ venues.
